FRAMPTON SC.; the reverse with a view of the chapel with St. Catherine's Hill in the background, on a scroll STET FORTUNA DOMUS, to the right, the arms of Wykeham.

George Frampton (1860 - 1928) was a notable British sculptor and leading member of the New Sculpture Movement. Among his notable public sculptures are the figure of Peter Pan in Kensington Palace Gardens and the lions at the British Museum.
